The Woodlands Junior High Lacrosse Club is a proud member of Greater Houston Lacrosse (GHL), the local chapter of US Lacrosse, the national governing body of men’s and women’s lacrosse.
In 1998, the Woodlands Junior High Lacrosse Club began as a single 8th Grade team. It was made up of boys in 6-8th grades. Since then, it has come a long way with the support and dedication of many coaches, families & friends of WJHLC.
Our club is now well represented in the Greater Houston Youth Lacrosse Association (GHYLA) with competitive teams in the 7/8th, 5/6th & 3/4th grade divisions. Additionally, our house program, the Young Highlanders, is a successful developmental program for new players in grades 1-6.
The commitment of the clubs' board members, coaches, players, and their families over the last two decades has elevated the Woodlands Junior high Lacrosse Club to the pinnacle of success. Our teams are very competitive in the Houston area and regularly play for the GHYLA championships.
