Skills Camp with Coach Tintle

Columbus Day Skills Camp - 2021 | 2nd – 8th  Grade

Varsity Coach Keith Tintle and the Woodlands Youth coaches are offering a one-day, six-hour, skills camp to enhance your athlete’s lacrosse skills for the upcoming season.  Registration is open to all lacrosse players regardless of their home team or club and all position players are welcome.  We hope to see players from across Houston and Texas convene for this opportunity.

Coach Tintle and Youth Program Director Joe Watson will lead the players through stick work and positional work in the morning.  This will include the opportunity to practice skills unique to various positions on the field including crease work, finishing, communication, and proper angles.

Following a lunch break and raffle, the camp will transition into practical game play by building from 1 v 1 to 5 v 5 game play.  The camp will conclude with one hour scrimmage for all players, either 10 v 10 or 7 v 7 depending on the athlete’s age.

Campers should bring a lunch and plenty of water.

Coach Tintle, Coach Watson, Coach Brooks, Coach Christopher and the other coaches look forward to a full day of lacrosse that will benefit all ages and players.
